I have eight months until I become Mrs. Andrew Iacona. Eight months. That seems like a long time but it really isn’t. Anyone who’s planning a wedding knows that it isn’t actually a long time. Thankfully, I’ve been on top of everything when it comes to wedding planning.
So far I have the church, hall, favors, the band, the photographer, and the videographer. Oh and the flowers, I got the flowers too, as well as pick out the bridesmaid dresses. I even emailed the bridesmaids to get them to measured and order the dresses. See all the stuff I got done? Aren’t you all proud?
Here’s the problem, though. I got all this stuff done…and now I sort of have nothing to do for a few months. The only other big thing I need to do is figure out the limos. Everything else I need to do are little things like getting dress accessories, figure out tuxes, wedding rings, invitations.
I know, it seems like there’s a lot of things I still NEED to do…but it’s too early to do those things. So I have to wait. I hate waiting…I’m not very good at it either. Thus I’m stuck in this limbo with wedding things I need to do but it’s not the right time to do these things.
I’m wondering if I should do some more things for the wedding anyway, even if I have so much time. Maybe getting more things done will lessen the load as the months progress. I know that I’m going to get just that much more stressed as the wedding gets closer. If I have less to do…maybe I’ll be less stressed? It’s a thought.
None the less, it’s wedding time! Eight months to go! I can’t believe it! Seriously, though. I’ve been engaged for three years (will be just about four years when we get married) and now it’s finally coming up! I’m finally tying the knot! Every time I think about it, I get a goofy grin on my face. I’m so excited to be marrying my best friend.
